Train ferry van, Chemins de Fer de Paris a Lyon et a la Mediterranee (PLM), wooden bodied ferry van used for cross channel freight services, No 475014, 1935.

This van was one of 400 identical vehicles owned by the PLM Railway in France, and was built to convey perishable loads from France to England using the train-ferry services instituted in 1936. The vehicle was presented to the National Railway Museum by the French Railways.
