Telegraph block instrument; LNWR Fletcher's ('Tele. Dept Stockport No. 856'). Combined 2-needle permissive pegging/non-pegging 3-position/3-indication. Circular bakelite commutator/permissive tell-tale window is set in a large brass disc. At RHS is a 'permissive' plunger and blockbell-tapper (in its original position) is at top RHS (door) with underslung bell-dome. Note the early cast-iron legs.
