Wash drawing, Blisworth Cutting from above, Sept. 1838, by John Cooke Bourne. Depicts the view looking north along the cutting towards a viaduct in the distance, during the construction of the London and Birmingham Railway. A hand operated rail crane sits on a temporary railway running across the top of the cutting.
