Depicts a well dress male passenger, carrying a suitcase and an umbrella, striding across a white star set in the centre of a map of the North Atlantic, with ports and major cities in Canada, the U.S.A., Britain, Ireland and France identified. The letters "L. & N. W. R." appear across the top. Text at the bottom of the poster reads "Convenient trains run to and from Liverpool (Exchange) in connection with the sailings of the steamers".
