Poster, Isle of Man for Happy Holidays, TT Races, June 12th, 14th, 16th, by P Chisholm, about 1929. Coloured lithograph depicting a map of the Isle of Man showing the Tourist Trophy motorcycle race course, overlaid with text. At left are two racing motorcyclists, on bikes numbered 25 and 61 and at right a figure of the Roman god, Mercury (Hermes). In the space below, at left, is the Three legs of Man emblem, with the accompanying words "LMS, for particulars of cheap tickets by LMS see the Company's announcement". At top right are inked stamps, a letter "D" and a circular design with the wording “London, Midland & Scottish Railway, authorised for exhibition”. Format, double royal.
