A creature or machine holds two bags scattering banknotes on the ground and in the air. A group of people follow, including young men and women, a man on crutches and a businessman in a top hat and overcoat, carrying an umbrella and a bag stuffed with money. A young couple shelter together beneath an umbrella, oblivious to the people around them. In the background are the outlines of London landmarks, including St Paul's Cathedral, the Bank of England and Nelson's column. Signed by the artist at bottom left. Captioned below, with the letters "LMS" and the company crest on either side. One of a series of sixteen posters by members of the Royal Academy commissioned by the London, Midland & Scottish Railway in 1924. Format quad royal.
