Coloured lithograph depicting a young woman in a red dress, with Southend pier and promenade beyond. The woman is standing in gardens on a cliff, holding her left arm pointing directly above her, and the right indicating the seafront below. There are crowds on the beach and behind the woman a pleasure boat is sailing away from the shore. Accompanying text at bottom, giving details of an illustrated booklet. Printed by Bemrose & Sons Ltd, Derby. Format quad royal.

Poster, National Screen Service Limited, Murder on the Orient Express, 1974. Coloured lithograph promoting Sidney Lumet’s film of Agatha Christie’s crime novel. It depicts, in Art Deco style, the Orient Express train, hauled by a steam locomotive. Standing to the side of the train is the figure of the fictional Belgian detective, Hercule Poirot, played by the actor Albert Finney. He is dressed in an overcoat and bowler hat and carries a cane. On either side of this illustration are photographs of the main characters in the film, including the actors Albert Finney, Sean Connery, Ingrid Bergman and John Gielgud. Text below gives details of the director, composer and author of the screenplay. Details of the publisher and printer are given in the bottom margin.
