Coloured lithograph depicting the view towards Plymouth Hoe across Plymouth Sound, seen from Staddon Heights at twilight. There are yachts and warships in the harbour, including either HMS Nelson or HMS Rodney. Beneath the illustration are the logos of the GWR and Southern Railway and the additional text "Illustrated guide free from Inquiry Bureau (Dept. P.R.) Guildhall, Plymouth. Format: quad royal.
