At the top is a scene showing a group of Cistercian monks, with the dates 1135 and 1235 at bottom left, and the word "Then" at top left in Gothic script. This illustration is divided diagonally from a view of the same location, showing a well dressed man and woman at the same point in the ruined abbey. Format double royal.
