Poster, London Midland & Scottish Railway, Snowdon Mountain Railway, Llanberis. Shows a train climbing up the mountain with two other depictions of scenes on the route.

Alternative Interpretation – Quote about this artwork from a community member with lived experience of disability, D/deafness and/or neurodivergence. Given as part of the ‘Go as you Please’, Curating for Change, exhibition project: “I climbed Snowdon several times before I became disabled. This image reminds me of the bittersweet situation when I went back up on the train. I was thinking, ‘I used to be able climb and walk up these mountains.’ But then you think, well, at least I can still go up there and see it, just in a different way. It’s not the same as walking up though, it never will be.”
