The poster, issued by the Midland Railway, but probably not published by the company, features a nineteenth century hunting print by Henry Alken. Titled 'By the Lord Harry, my chestnut horse can almost fly" it was first published in 1829. The poster is probably a stock design on which railway companies printed their name in the box at the top with details of connecting services in the box at the bottom.
