KB PVP20 'Royal Star' 17" monochrome television receiver.

Kolster Brandes PVP20 Royal Star television with 17 inch screen.

The Royal Star cost £61-19-0 when it was first made in 1958 by Kolster Brandes in Kent, England. Kolster Brandes won the contract to install television receivers in the Queen Mary and subsequently in other Cunard liners. As a result, most of their receivers were given model names to reflect this and much was made in their advertising of the link with Cunard.
