Stone Sleeper for Bodmin & Wadebridge Railway

Stone sleeper used on Bodmin & Wadebridge Railway (1834). Sub square, with two centrally positioned holes set within a shallow rectangular recess, for attachment of a rail chair. One of the holes is very shallow or blocked. The other has a metal spike protruding out of it.
