A Railway worker or Vulcan rests on a hammer an in his right hand. holds Locomotion No. 1. Pacific class locomotive in background. Reverse: Conjoined busts of Edward Pease (1767-1858) and George Stephenson (1781-1848) between two coats of arms, Stockton and Darlington. Reverse Inscription: EDWAED PEASE. GEORGE STEPHENSON.
