Marconi Instruments were Britain's leading manufacturer of automatic test equipment - the apparatus used to test electronic circuit boards and assemblies during manufacture. The OE1485 was the last such equipment made which did not incorporate a computer. This OE1485 was used by Marconi Space and Defence Systems and later by Marconi Defence Systems for testing sub-assemblies of the Sea Dart missile. It comes with full documentation of the equipment and its applications.
