Rigged model of the Drifter 'Eileen' from Looe, Cornwall. The model represents a motor drifter from Looe. Due to the advent of the internal combustion engine the vessles of Looe were built bigger and the hulls were modified including the addition of a wheelhouse. The vessel was powered by two diesel engines to drive screw propellers which turn in opposite directions and which are sometimes fitted both on the same side as in the model. Scale 1:12 (SEE NOTE)
