Model of a Clovelly Herring Boat 'Rattling Jack'. A gift to the museum from V.C. Boyle. This type of boat was used at Clovelly, on the north coast of Devon, for the herring industry. The model, which was made by the donor in 1933, shows the 'Rattling Jack' equipped for the fishery, but the vessel was later employed as a pleasure-boat. Scale 1:14
