Painting, oil, Bon Voyage, Trains joining steam ships at Calais, by Terence Cuneo, 1952. Depicts the SS 'Invicta' and the SS 'Côte d'Azur' at Calais harbour, with waiting boat trains on the docks alongside. In the foreground are two steam locomotives with passenger carriages. Passengers diesembark down the gangway of the Invicta, while workers unload luggage. In the background is the French steamer, moored at the quayside. Signed by the artist at bottom left. Original artwork commissioned for British Railways poster.
