Non-working minature model of a proposed telechiric device for repairing other machines underground but being controlled from the surface, made 1970-1980, developed for the purposes of a feasibility study carried out by the National Coal Board. It was not developed further because the NCB was disbanded. This is an interesting concept of a tele-operated device for machine repair devised by a robotics authority of that time.
