Poster, London, Brighton & South Coast Railway, Brighton Railway for Isle of Wight, about 1910. Coloured lithograph depicting a naval officer looking through a telescope. A circular vignette shows his view, a fashionably dressed woman in a white dress carrying a red parasol, and a girl in a white dress modelled on a sailor's uniform. The girl is waving. In the background is a coastal town, perhaps Ryde or Cowes, with the Needles in the distance. There are yachts and a destroyer at sea. The LBSCR company crest is at bottom left, and the words "Victoria and London Bridge Stations for Isle of Wight" inset in a box at right. Format double royal.
