German right above knee prosthesis made of fibre. Wire cables either side of the back of the knee cause the foot to dorsi-flex when the knee flexes. Made by Leuschuer & Co. of Herne and presented to the Ministry of Pensions by the German Government in 1928. Weight 3.5lbs, 1.5 kg.
