Metal left above knee prosthesis. One of the first (metal) suction sockets to be made in Britain. There is a spiral groove 1 " wide, inside the socket into which the thigh flesh would become "keyed". Metal shin, strip riveted in the front. Made in 1924. (Weight: 5.25 lbs 2.3 kg)
