Working arm for a right above elbow amputation. Blocked leather socket and certalmid forearm. Wrist bisection with rotary mechanism. The large ball-headed 'pin' is for releasing the hand or other terminal device. The small ball-headed 'pin' locks against rotation. There is an elbow joint which incorporates an automatic lock. A rotation mechanism is fitted just above the elbow with a lock, operated by a small ball-headed 'pin'. Flexion is achieved by means of a round leather cord which passes through a pulley, at the level of the axilla, then through an eyelet on the flexion lever (on the medial side of the joint). The hand is missing. Dated 7 September 1945.
