Working ideas for parts of a mural commissioned by the British Airports Authority for Terminal 1 of Heathrow Airport and unveiled 17 April 1969, on the theme: British air transport - the pioneering days 1919-1934, commemorating pioneers planes and early years of commercial passenger transport at Hounslow Heath in 1919 and continued at Croydon from 1920 until 1939. Accompanied by Key diagram explaining mural contents and accounts of the opening (see note)
