Spray for lignocaine, used during anaesthesia no maker marked

When a breathing tube is being put in a person’s mouse, nose and throat, their cough or gag reflex can sometimes be activated. This causes additional stress to the patient and makes it difficult to place the tube. To prevent this lignocaine, a local anaesthetic, is sprayed on the vocal cords and throat. The area becomes numb, and the tube can be placed.

Lignocaine, also known as lignocaine and the brand name Xylocaine has been in use since 1949. This anaesthetic is also widely used for dentistry.
