These posters and pamphlets are examples of the kind of information that was offered to the public. Special attention was paid to vulnerable groups such as expectant mothers and growing children.

The Vitamin Welfare Scheme was purely nutritional in its purpose, namely, to ensure adequate supplies of vitamins A, C and D during pregnancy and early childhood.
