Painting, oils on canvas, "Harwich", by F Mollting, about 1850. Depicts vessels at sea, close to shore during a storm. There is a small sailing boat, flying a Dutch tricolour flag from its mast, and a rowing boat loaded with goods and carrying four sailors. In the distance are larger vessels, including a three masted sailing ship. On the shore at right is a tall structure standing on the beached hull of a wooden ship, possibly intended to represent Harwich Low Lighthouse.
