Haag's patent oscillating cylinder water motor No.2

This is a small example of Haag's high-pressure water motor, for water pressures up to 300 lb. per sq. in. These motors were frequently used in mine workings, the water for driving being obtained from the delivery pipe of the main pumping engine removing flood water from the workings, and the motor discharging its exhaust water into the mine sump.
