The outfit this doll is wearing is the "Summer" part of the Barbie Fashion Avenue Spectacular Seasons set. This doll was one of a range of toys used within research examining biological and social factors that shape children's toy preferences, conducted by City University (London)’s Dept. of Psychology and Behavioural Neuroendocrinology Research Centre, c.2000.
