Perfume Pretty Barbie Doll

This doll is a Perfume Pretty Barbie doll, which was sold in both African-American and white versions. The doll wears a pink dress with outsized bow, a pink bolero jacket, and has long brown hair in a ponytail with a pink bow. The doll is wearing a white necklace and only one pink shoe.

Released in 1987, Perfume Pretty Barbie was part of a range along with a Perfume Pretty Whitney and Perfume Giving Ken doll. This doll originally came with a comb and a bottle of Barbie perfume, and a Barbie beauty booklet - there were also gift sets in this range including perfume, hair accessories, and body lotion which did not come with a doll, part of a growing branching out of Mattel's Barbie brand into other areas of the market.
