Presentation model of travelling wave deflection cathode ray tube, made by 20th Century Electronics Ltd staff in 1956. The Atomic Weapons Establishment at Aldermaston ordered 100 of these tubes for their work, valued at £500 each. The model was made for, and presented to, Gilbert Tomes by his workforce at 20th Century Electronics (Later Centronic Ltd)
