Two old object glasses of 2 1/4-inch aperture by John Reeves and Edward Scarlet respectively, each in wood mounts. Presented by George Dollond to the Hartwell Museum, Hartwell House near Aylesbury in December 1859. Thought once to be the property of Sir Samuel Bentham [1757-1831] .
