Contract No. 3B, Extension, Drawing No. 3, Longitudinal Section of Diversion of Turnpike Road, also shows cross section of embankment and cross section of cutting ,c.1839, ink and wash on linen-backed paper. Bears manuscript. note "This is one of the Drawings referred to in the annexed Contract between The Great Western Railway Company and Mr. David McIntosh dated the 22nd of August 1839" and signature of David McIntosh. Bears also stamp indicating it is No.2 of a Set of 28 Drawings, stamp of Great Western Railway, Engineer's Office, Paddington, and number 15706.
