Stycar hearing test contained in box, with selection of toys and a chart of developmental sequences covering 1 month to 5 years of age, distributed by the NFER (National Foundation for Educational Research) Publishing Company Limited, Windsor, UK, 1980.

Stycar is an acronyn for 'Sheridan Tests for Young Children and Retardates' - the latter being a term for people with an intellectual disability that's now considered offensive and outdated. It consists of a series of object and picture based tests to help assess hearing. It was devloped by Mary D. Sheridan, an English paediatrician and public health officer who pioneered the study of child development.
