Rule book, North Western Railway, c. 1845, "Rules and regulations to be observed by the Company's officers", 31 pages, printed from hand engraved plates with perfect Victorian copper plate writing, reference to timber "Lancaster and Carlisle viaduct" on page 8 may give clue to date, Poulton Station mentioned on page 27, dark brown hard cover with gold lettering.
