A Flying Scotsman Greetings card from Mr & Mrs W H McAlpine, the cover illustration is of Flying Scotsman leaving British Rail Engineering Workshops, Derby in July 1973, after a complete overhaul and repaint following its return from America [no envelope]. The “Flying Scotsman” souvenir leaflet giving the history of the famous locomotive, price 5p, in aid of St. Christopher’s Railway Children’s Home Derby.
