Two colour Polaroid snapshots of Flying Scotsman on display at Derby Locomotive Works, 1973. Photographs taken at Derby Works in 1973 while the Flying Scotsman was in the ownership of Sir William McAlpine, who had funded its restoration on its return from the USA. Prior to being exhibited at Derby, the locomotive worked a season on the Torbay Steam Railway. One of the photographs includes McAlpine's saloon carriages behind the locomotive.
