National Union of Railwaymen leaflet "National Union of Railwaymen's Approved Society - My Appeal to N.U.R. Fathers and Mothers" June 1937. Contains an appeal by the General Secretary of the NUR Approved Society secretary, Frank Bailey, for NUR parents to enroll their children in the NUR Approved Society under the projected extension of National Health Insurance. According to the leaflet, when National Health Insurance was introduced in 1912, the unions failed to enrol their members in approved societies, thus allowing commercial firms to take control of National Health Insurance. Also includes a cartoon of non-Union approved society salesmen. 4pp.
