The Miners' Bridge

A photograph entitled 'The Miners' Bridge', taken by Captain White in 1868. The photograph shows a bridge on the River Llugwy in North Wales. The Miners Bridge was a popular tourist site, renowned for its picturesque scenery. Roger Fenton (1819-1869) took a similar photograph from almost exactly the same spot about ten years earlier.
