Three binders of research and notes, as follows: 1. Locomotive Stock of all passenger carrying railway companies, minor, light and narrow gauge railways of Britain and Ireland as at 31st December 1922 (also includes lists of locomotive names, depots, re-numbering for the Big Four, allocations, designers etc.); The Locomotives of the Pre-Grouping Companies 1st January 1923 (only covers the constituent companies of the SR and GWR); 3. A Labour of Love (autobiographical compendium of Peter Larkin's railway work and experiences in the UK, in abridged and expanded versions). The binders were formatted and produced by the donor John G. Larkin, Peter Larkin's cousin.
