Williamson 35mm cine camera, manufactured by Williamson Kinematograph Co Ltd, 28 Denmark Street, Charing Cross Road, London WC. With claw movement, single sprocket wheel, wooden spool boxes carried inside camera, 100 foot capacity. Hand operated. Zeiss Tessar lens F;5 cm f/3.5 - 23, Serial No 228393, in helical focusing mount, with lens hood. Rotary footage indicator and collapsing optical frame finder with clip on reflecting finder. In leather case with two spare film boxes and instruction book.

This is a wooden, hand-cranked camera for 100' rolls of 35mm film contained in wooden spool boxes carried inside the camera. James Williamson started producing films in 1897, and in 1910 he began to concentrate on the manufacture of film equipment.
