Cirkut panoramic cameras were produced from 1904 to 1945, models ranging from the No 5 to the No 16, the model number corresponding to the width of the film. Cirkut cameras were a large format view camera, with a motorised panoramic back attached. To take a picture, a spool of film was loaded and the motor started by means of a lever on the back of the camera. The motor wound the film from the spool to the take up spool and in the process the film was exposed as it passed over the film slit.
