Pathe Baby projector, c 1925

Pathe Baby projector, no. 136719. For 9.5mm film in 30 foot chargers. Automatic take up in film chamber (glass and retaining ring missing). Hand rewind; pulley for accessory motor drive. Lamp rheostat in base.

This amateur home movie projector was hand-cranked and took up to 60 feet of 9.5mm film in the Pathé magazines (or chargers) fitted at the top of the machine. The film fed into the chamber at the bottom and could be rewound using the small crank handle at the top. The projector had a low voltage electric bulb, housed in the lamphouse to the left of the crank handle.
