The Instamatic series of pocket cameras was first launched in 1963. Instamatics were inexpensive and easy to load, using 126 and 110 film cartridges. The 314 Instamatic used 126 cartridge loading film, and had a flashcube socket and automatic exposure setting provided by a CdS photocell.
