Kodak M6 instamatic movie camera, 1965-1966. Electric cine camera for Super 8 film in 50' Kodapak Movie cartridges. Kodak Zoom lens f/1.8; helical focusing. Through lens automatic exposure control; +1 stop backlight setting. Direct vision optical finder with lowlight warning; focusing eyepiece. Linear footage scale. Film speed sensors. Integral folding handle. Powered by three 1.5v AAA cells. Provision for accessory battery boost pack. Manual zoom control. Slot for movie light or key to remove daylight filter. The film transport, common to all in the range, is mounted on a die-cast inner frame and the camera is made of glass-reinforced plastic in two-tone grey. This is an example of the top of the range of the Kodak Instamatic Super 8 cameras introduced in May 1965.
