Camera case, for RB Auto Graflex camera owned by Howard Carter, the archaeologist
Leather case for the RB Auto Graflex camera, by Folmer and Schwing Division, Eastman Kodak Co. Leather box case, shoulder strap missing. Lined with purple velvet. Sides and lid of case with paper stickers for White Star Line, Cunard Line and Anchor Line, in name of 'Howard S Carter'. The camera was owned by Howard Carter, the archaeologist; used to photograph in situ the tomb of Tutankamen when discovered (1922).
