Marconi-EMI 128B wooden tripod, 1936-38. This type of wooden tripod was used with the Marconi-EMI's first series of all-electronic television cameras, and also was part of the standard equipment for the BBC's first outside broadcast van, MCR1. MCR1 could support up to three Emitrons for an outside broadcast.
