Following jobs as photographer for a local London newspaper and for the General Electric Company, Bailey became a freelance. He discovered his vocation when he assisted a photographer on a feature film. Since 1992 he has worked as a unit stills and special photographer.

A unit stills photographer looks for images that communicate a film’s atmosphere. This picture was used as a component of the film’s poster, alongside Bailey’s images of the principal actors.
