Seal, die, steel, wood and leather, London & North Eastern Railway, incorporated in 1923, 42mm diameter with wooden lockable box with leather impression of seal, depicts George Stephenson’s Locomotion No. 1 which was probably made for the centenary celebrations of the opening of the Stockton & Darlington Railway in 1925.
