The Patheorama is a small hand held filmstrip viewer, using a strip of 35mm cinema film (safety stock as it was designed for use at home), with images and titles. the film had one set of perforations cut off, allowing it to be patented by Pathe. The lid flips up allowing the film to be threaded and is transported through the viewer using a small knob on the outside. The instructions read: 'to load the device, place the perforated edge of the film between the window and the rubber washer. Gently press down on the top ege of the film and turn the knob'.
